    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Not much going on- Just got my new speedo cable... I noticed that the end is slightly different than the original, as you can see. It doesn't look like it'll fit into the lower bracket like it should. I may have to add a bracket.

    connecting rod replacement

How do you freshen up rod bearings? Hit em with some Febreeze? I just replace them. And on a more serious note, you would have to pull the crossmember to access them in-car. it'd just be easier to pull the motor. I have done it in my MR2, but that car has no crossmember; you just unhook...

    My 89 Build

Nope, there's no demand for it. At least not for what it'd be worth it for you to offer. I've modded and sold at least 8 climate control units, in every combination of colors(including the temp displays), but I never made more than $20 profit on a unit, over the cost of the parts, and the...

    What could I sell for??

2,500? No. If it is as advertised, it's a $4,000+ car all day. Hell, just the new wiring harness and turbo are worth close to $2500.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So... I've been out of town for the better part of a week, but I got back today, for ONE day. Have to go back out of town tomorrow for 3 or 4 more days. BUT, that didn't stop me from showing the supra a little love. First off, I received a few small pachages in the mail; -6 braided black fuel...

question about electronics related to fuel pump and stereo system

In an effort to reduce large gauge cables passing through the car, i suppose. If you were to run say, a 4 gauge power cable to the back, then that is essentially an extension of the battery, now located in the trunk area. Connecting there by way of a fused distribution block seems like a solid...

    7mgte stock rebuild-sort of

Well, rather than guilt you into a full rebuild that you honestly might not need, i would suggest you get a compression test first. Thats one way to get a baseline on the condition of your motor. I will tell you that i had at one time used a FelPro head gasket with ARP head studs, and it held...
