The one on my NA used to work fine...but this one used to be just open all the time (previous owner removed spring and latch when the cable popped off) I popped the cable back on, and got a spring and latch from Suprahero, and now it will stay closed, but when you go to pull the latch to open...
lol...when I read the title, i was thinking "sounds like my car!"
Be 100% sure that the wiring is perfect, and I don't think that bumps in the road would be picked up by the sensor, because it only looks for a certain frequency.
Don't use Lucas, it may be okay in a V8 with a million miles on it, but in a turbo charged engine, the super thick Lucas does nothing but foam, and not lubricate.
Sounds like you could have a boost leak, or one of yours plug wires is bad or something...check in the spark plug galley for oil. Will it boost smoothly, any smoke? What psi will it boost to, and will it stay there?
How much for the KYB's?
That sounds like the infamous "60MPH shimmy" caused by a worn-out center carrier bearing. (on the driveshaft)...as for the steering wheel shaking, My car does that too but at low speeds, it just wobbles left to right slowly...and moves faster as speed increases, until it isn't noticeable...
Stop stressing so much! It really doesn't help anything...okay, with that said...yes, it still can be okay, just replace those parts and see what happens, then go from there.
There isn't anywhere else you can put the oil cooler? It really looks weird coming out of the headlight hole, and kills the looks of the front end, IMO.
OMG.....................................I instantly stopped scrolling when I saw that car...WOW I love the white package Supras soooo much...I'm actually thinking I should have just waited to but one of those instead of my pearl white 87T...jeez.
