Yea, you're probably right, it seems appropriate to me, because the lip is partially molded to the bumper, like it isn't a seperate piece, it was designed to look like it is part of the actual bumper...so it looks weird if it's a totally different color. The lip you had on it was seperate, so...

Yea, the clamps should be fine if they are the spring type. If they are the worm clamps, I would get new spring ones, I have had several worm clamps work their way loose over time...they kinda suck. And I Would replace any coolant hoses that you haven't already...or if it has unknown milage or...

Haha, tha's a funny question. And yes, when I shimmed my CT26, it sounded slightly different, mostly just louder because it was boosting a few more pounds.

You don't need new hose clamps. just make sure all of the hoses are good, and are seated properly. Did you have the head rebuilt or surfaced? Make sure all sealing surfaces are VERY clean. Lol...I went insane cleaning my block...after the twentieth cleaning I stopped counting...lol...I used...

I have the Autozone pump in my car, and the one that i took off looked the same...I guess it was a replacment as well. It looked good when I removed it...I replaced it only because the gasket was leaking, and it had unknown milage. The new one has been fine for about a year.
