    my ABS light is on. what does it mean?

    Yea, that means there is a malfunction in the ABS system...Disconnect the check connector by the ABS solenoids (to the left of the charcoal canister) and watch the light blink for codes.

    Looks like it used to be metallic silver lettering. Get a little bottle of Dupli-color touch up in whatever metallic silver you like. :)

    I like to do things the right way...what you're suggesting will only be a temporary fix...he could get the same results by just pulling the vacuum line off of the Heater valve. If it's broken, FIX IT...don't half-ass it.

    There MAY be a slight difference in air temp that he's not mentioning... the armature of the Heater valve isn't moving, so obviously there is a problem with the VSV...one problem at a time.

    I envy you 1J guys with your engines that are easy to work on...To change out the spark plugs on a 7M takes HOURS.
