That's exactly why I put my weatherstripping back in. If your cooling system can't operate properly with it there "blocking" airflow, then there is a problem, and it needs to be fixed.
Car is looking good, Tanya! And I agree with pete...I don't understand how people can just totally let their car go to crap, when the parts is needs aren't major or expensive, and a simple wash every now and again would make it look waayyy better...
Well, you get what you pay for in this case...the parts store caps aren't the best quality, and they may or may not be rated at the factory pressure spec...which can cause all kinds of weird problems.
IMO, the cooling system is an extremely important system...and I only like to use what I KNOW...
Yea, you can use dupli-color Chrome paint on the center caps, and they will match the stripped sawblades pretty well...just make sure you spray some clear coat over them, or the paint won't last very long.
