As stated in the ORIGINAL ROTM thread..............It is NOT about who spent the most or has the highest HP. If it were, what would be the point of letting the N/A's even compete. It is about a car that best represents the community, or the Spirit of the MKIII. If you read Ryan's(da89Soup)story...
Nothing but love here at SM............Everybody here has been banned at SF at one point or another. I believe their mods are getting bonus checks for banning mKIII owners. WELCOME
who were the MKIII's? I'm assuming the mKIV and Lexus were Bill and Crystal
Mike.........When are we gonna see your car at one of these???????
Jay............I just gotta figure out how to get the car started. I'm not getting fire/fuel/power to starter. I'm thinking either CPS or an ECU issue
Justin,
Good luck with your new endeavor. HIt me up once you get to Pensacola! I'm just 60 miles away. Jake (Reign Maker) is closer than that in the other direction, and I'm sure there are several more in the short drive area.
I love the Dark blues.....................BUT.........................
I like Suprahero and Kwnate..............and this one better. You two ROTY guys better watch out if he gets this color redone, and finished! Thats one good lookin car.
Everybody's got white!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got 2 to show.
First ....For you Tanya..My old 85
And my 87T that I'm working on as my replacement for the wrecked grey car. Check out my son's RC MKIV in the foreground. Picture qualityis terrible.
I believe it will be rebuildable, but right now I'm concentrating on getting the 87 running. The driver's side frame rail has a bolt and you can see the washer moved about 1/8 of an inch. The passenger side rail looks straight for as much of it as I can see. I can't see the tip, but it feels...
Definitely a hard act to follow.................but also inspiration to rebuild
I could almost still take this picture, except for the bumper corner sticking out. Fender is still arrow straight.
Welcome Kemosabe........Way to introduce yourself as a real player!!!!!!!!!!
BTW.....That's $494 plus whatever else the change adds up to. But, Yes, I have wondered, and will refer to this list as well.
Mechanical Performance Learnings of Internet for Make Benefit Glorious Model of Supra!
This is the line I don't understand..............................I would have no problem with PIITB in your avatar........very nice.......Kenya FTW
MDC....swapped igniter and coil pack with no luck. Will need to get Jim back over here to check continuity. It's a known good CPS, unless it can go bad from sitting a while (heard they can).
Ken......100 amp is good..........and what the hell is your sig saying.....me no understand
Or.....You could go with another block-off plate at the head, and just be without an EGR. Read up on the pros and cons, and make that decision. I had my 90 blocked off with no problems, but read enough to make me want to think about changing it back, but now it doesn't matter. I don't have...
Ideal, wouldn't you mean if the CPS is NOT working?
MDC.......I have those grounds connected......but possibly to the wrong bolt on the manifold (I don't think so)........Would it make a difference? I know some bolts don't go thru the upper part of the mani.
I have the 90 I can swap parts...
I have shipped several of them. It weighs pretty close to 90-100 pounds packaged if I recall. It's been a while since I shipped one though. Seems like it is about $60-70 bucks to ship. Plus, you really need to protect it when shipping. I usually pack it in a box with good protection, and then...
Take a hose to it while it's in storage......either where it sits, or take it out of storage far enough to run a hose over it. Lay thoe hose over the roof, and let it run. Enter the car from the driver's side, and watch it a good while until you see water. If you do get water, it will be a...
It's not crankiong over with the key, but it will if I jump the starter. When jumping the starter, it cranks over, but still will not start. We can't see it getting any fire, or fuel. EFI fuse appears OK. I don't suspect a fuse, because it was running fine with the old motor, until it just...
