Sounds to me like you have a leaking slave cylinder, that is leaking inside of the bellhousing, and finding it's way out whereever it can. The easiest way out must be on the passenger side. Not sure that this can happen, but it is my guess. The bleeder valve is a part of the slave cylinder...
