That heat protector came on that hood from my parts car. It looked OK and was in one piece. He painted over it with a flat black, and yes, it really looks new. It doesn't even look painted.

I just got back from O'Reilley's with one new hood strut, just so I could get the two mounting bolts out of the package. Got em in, and the hood will cooperate tomorrow for a better full picture. Anybody need a cheap hood strut? It's brand new.

Just put the coil pack on the motor. Make sure to connect the ground wire. You need the #1 piston TDC as you re-install the CPS. To get that, take your oil cap off. You will need to turn your crankshaft until you see the cam lobe through the hole.

I shipped them off to get flowed yesterday. I think I'm just going to use them IF they flow evenly. I don't hold much hope that they will be perfect, but we'll see. Many people have used them without problems ( at least not that they blamed on the injectors)......but some including Aaron have...
