Well, Yesterday I think I tested my fuel pump. I ran a jumper between the two terminals in the diagnostic block. But, it said to test the pressure on the return line. Can I assume that I have no pressure by my AFPR gauge? I believe I will have to swap my Walbro in before I get it started.
i have this one for $45 shipped. I am pretty sure it is crack free, but will need to straighten a bit. That shouldn't be a problem. I also have another one in similar shape, but no pictures yet.
In this case, I think the badge is implying the truth. Noah was the CHI2k7 MKIII Dyno Winner, all without passing 5000RPM. Now that it is running correctly, I'm sure it's pretty bad ass.
I believe they all come with a "stock " lip. But they are easily bent or broken, so many have been ditched alog the way. Throw on a two or three hole lip for a whole new look on your car!
This thread promises to be fun for months to come! Good Pure FUN. I wouldn't want to wish a loss on either one of you guys, and hopefully it can happen without any breakage.
I think the 92 should be kept stock and pristine. You made the decision to go 2J with the 89.......let that car be your hot rod, and keep the rare 92 in quiet, smooth condition. Then if you get too radical with the 2J, you could always daily drive the 92.
My plan would be to fix the black...
Ken, I've got an extra 3000 pipe or two, and plenty of parts cars worth of bolts. Let me know if you want any of them.
And, I'm not positive if it's still there, but I think I posted a close up of all the vacuum lines in my build somewhere. I'll see if I can find that pic tomorrow.
I found out I'm too damn old for that, even just for the ride. Houston isn't quite as far of a drive, so I could probably do that one after work. But I'd rather plan to have the day off and drive all day. Houston has always been the one I wanted to make, but never have, so I'm really hoping I...
Maybe soon I'll have something you can compare to George's, and have a chance to be seen. Maybe my body mods will help even out some of George's 2J bay. My bay won't be bad, but it's just a 7M (power a real man's way).
No, we're not postwhoring, Ken disrespected us by not starting his build...
I never really liked a RED car before, but it was the best replacement shell I could find when I needed one. Your car has converted me into being excited about my future red paint job
Let's get this sucker some fuel!
The noise you hear at the beginning is the Altima that I had jumper cables hooked to. And, then I had to adjust my grip on the jumper wire.
NOW.............Off to read that AFC-NEO Manual. Hopefully we'll have a running video soon!
Video forthcoming...........but playing with AFC first.
I have it turning over constantly now. But, I have to figure out how to program in some fuel through this NEO. So far, I have no fuel pressure.
NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!
I know it is still minor, but my car turned over for the first time today! I was able to run a hot wire to the cylenoid, and got it to turn over today. But, the car was in gear, and it stopped pretty quickly. I took it out of gear, but couldn't duplicate the feat. My...
