oh, my mistake then.. must be off an 86/87, it has all the interior fabric, door switches, mirror, and speaker covers from a pre 89... the more i think about why the previous owner replaced it, the more worried i get...

do you close, then lock with the key? if so, it works normal, but if you lock with the switch, then close, it unlocks unless you hold the handle up..

here.. at 1st i thought they were just dirty, but i saw another 2 pairs that were supposed to be from a GA70, and they looked identical.. and here are the "normal" JDM ones (i have two sets of these) the ga70 ones appear to be a mix between the JDM ones, and the "orangy" USDMs...

oh, sweet, thanks! i kinda like that trim more, no one really has it.. also, are ga70 front signals different? i've seen pics and it appears as if they're half orange, half dark amber.. very subtle, but noticeable...

another less noted difference is 86-88 doors have locks that you have to hold the handle up, then close, for it to lock.. 89+'s dont have that.. i have an 88 door on an 89 body, so i know 1st hand..

hahaa, i'd hope not.. the license plate opening on pre 89s is wider i believe, evident on Johnathan1's taillights...(he put 88 trim on 89+ tails)

but it's an 89 center piece, and if i recall, narrow bodies only came from 86-88..
