Just dropped off the parts that are off the body at the paint shop. I did notice though that my front bumper duct has a couple rock chips and a small crack. I blame my parents for moving it carelessly. Bastards! Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it because of my time line. Friday...
Crazy Saudi's. I remember the guy from Hawaii. His Supra was featured a couple years ago (and is NOX bottle was stolen while being shipped over). Very nice ride. IIRC he was a civilian contractor for the military there in Hawaii (based on the window decal).
So, when are you going to get traction? Sawblades + 1JZ = no traction. I picked up my 17's with very sticky wet/dry rubber for only for only $1400 new. Time t upgrade bro.
Talked to the body shop today and I'm dropping the Supra off next Friday. I wet sanded the whole car twice today with 600 grit sand paper. I also lowered the Supra 2 inches all around so now the ride height is perfect.
Where are all the other MKIII guys in the area? Common guys, let's show some MKIII pride. Only 4 MKIII's on the list including myself. That's sad. Atleast show up for Saturday guys, that's when the show-n-shine/dyno/drags are going on.
Ah, so that is where Pete was heading the other day. Do you think you will be able to make PacNW Supra Nationals bro? I sure hope so. Looks like you will have a cleaner MKIII then me if you do show up.

There's a couple guys here on the forums that will polish your parts for fairly cheap. Why not strip that paint off and send them to them? They will look 10 times better. Very nice work already btw. Glad to see you are improving the car.
Just got a price quote from the body shop around the corner, only $400 to spray and wet sand the car. Not bad considering I'm getting a $4000 paint job for only $1100 total. This is why I do all my own work with a little help here and there.
Sheitza brother. You've put a lot of work into that body. I'm always happy to see someone who restores a broke down Supra. Very nice work. Can't wait to see what's next.
The weather was perfect today. Got primer down on everything and did a partial reassemble so I could drive the Supra home. The duct in the front bumper turned out amazing! I can't wait to see it when it gets painted. It looks stock. Gotta start wet sanding with 400 then 600 grit sand paper...
