Got the new fender on and replaced both front trim pieces. Cleaned out a ton of rock and sand from the winter storm (no fender wells, I need to get a new set along with the hardware). I also tightened up a couple things.

Several members are running .022 and their Supra's run fine. Each motor is a little different. For the 1J use NGK 6097's gapped between .022 and .028

Do a search for 5-speed swaps and you will find everything you need.

If you can get ahold of a spare ignitor plug that in and see what happens. Put a fresh set of NGK 6097 plugs gapped at .022 Open up the ECU and see if you can see any burn marks or leakages.

No, the 2J and 1J MAP sensors are different part numbers as well as different limits for boost and such. Do a search and you will find all the details on the differences (there's actually a thread detailing the differences).

I checked all my fuses and they are all perfect.

I put in a fresh set of spark plugs since the ones that were in it were soaked in gasoline and gapped them to .022 (NGK 6097's) and it fired right up. Only 1 problem, it's still running rich. Atleast it runs, so I'm happier. I will deal with the richness later.

I got fuel, I just don't have spark.

I moved my 1J last night and it was running really rich. I go to start it today and it won't turn over. It will crank and crank and crank, and spark here or there, but it won't catch and fire. Any ideas? Adam
