Your piping is only as good as your worst restriction. I'd do the whole kit at once. You can get the Driftmotion 2 1/2" kit for about $160. With that kit, you get all the piping you need, all the couplers, and T-Bolt clamps. You want to replace that stock pipe coming off the turbo just so you...
I'm so tired of working on this car. The harness should be here soon, and I have been putting a lot off until then. Maybe this weekend I can get a lot of stuff done.Stuff such as:
1. Install Harness
2. Fix Brake pedal/Switch
3. Swap rear Brakes and possibly calipers
4. Attempt to get stock Fog...
Well I just went and got the car from work. Being nighttime, I was able to see that I can temporarily turn them off by pulling the pedal up with my foot. But when I let go, they turn back on. Hopefully I can just do some adjusting. Anyone got any pointers on that?
It sure doesn't seem to hurt a Grand National at the track. It make my 5-speed drivin ass jealous. But ya, I would think it stress the whole drivetrain.
I think the switch is on the pedal itself, and I believe I have a spare pedal in the shed. I doubt it is wiring too. I'm thinking switch, so I will check out that extra pedal. If it takes swapping the pedal, I will do it, but hopefully it is easier than that.
That's just my lastest glitch Noah! When the car is on, my brake lights are always on. When it started, I could make them go out by playing with the pedal. Now nothing turns them out. I'm hoping it's caused by some of my wiring on the NEO. I'm not confident that it's wired in perfect. The...
Don't underestimate the 7M! Build it right, and that car will give the Super Bee plenty of trouble. The Celica probably weighs less than half what that car does.
I'm one of the older members, so I do appreciate a good ole American muscle car , almost as much as a nicely done Supra.
+1 for...
The difference is huge! Do it out of the car as said. I did mine out of the car, then had to swap it while in the car. Now I have to swap it again this weekend for a Good one. Much easier out of the car!
^WOW! You MUST not be too scared of changing your head gasket!
OP....Don't drive the car until you get this replaced. These get expensive in the winter when people want their heater to work. You could bypass it, and drive the car.
A note about my thread........There are several very valuable responses that are just as helpful as the write up. I did a few things that could have been done better. This forum is tremendous! Other members let me know what I did, and corrected me on them. Make sure you read the responses.
