Stock intercooler is crap. Driftmotion is nice, but you will need to cut a pipe or two on the universal kit.

Sounds like a classic BAD AFM. You have an AFM code, and your car will idle wrong and be powerless if it is. Is there someone close that you could borrow one from for a quick test. Or, do a search on how to properly test your AFM. Here's a hint, you will probably find it thru that cygnus site...
