Sounds like a really good plan. BUT, How do you handle it when the winner ends up being a close friend of whoever you decide to let decide a winner. By whatever means they use, some people will ignorantly cry foul, no matter how fairly it is handled. Hopefully a buyer will surface quickly.
If it truly is a piece of shit, you won't get much out of it selling it. If you have the time and resources, parting it out will probably bring more money.............but you definitely have to work for it. There's so many things you can sell that most people never think of when considering...

Be careful that you get the right color glass to match your car. There are green and bronze, and I think even some blue. The tint is hard to see ion most cars, but it's easy to tell if you install the wrong one. A glass shop would be your best bet. They can make sure they get it right. It's a...

It does not take the ECU long to relearn. How long has this condition been going on. I would lean more towards something else you did, or a boost leak you missed.
Why do you have the temp sensor unplugged???
As for your 51, reset your codes, and make sure the A/C is switched OFF, and car is in neutral or in park. Crank and run the car, then recheck codes. Keep your foot off of the accelerator pedal while checking the codes.
