Yes, plug it in. That plug brings the 9V power to the system. You cut the wire, and run the 9V to the relay. The other side comes back as 12V to the end going to the pump. ***EDIT*** I wish my car was the color of your metal back there!:mad::icon_cry::icon_cry::mad::icon_cry::icon_cry:

I have a spare if the dealer wants too much for it. But, it's possible it is spare because it should be in my motor. I have a little flutter in my idle, and my car runs as if it had a boost leak.

A 6 is the powerful motor for the S-10. They have a good bit of torque. I'd worry about it more than the stang with the crippled motor.

It's one of the hardest parts on the motor to remove while it's in the car, by far, especially if you Don't have a lift. That said, you can get used to driving the Supra without it. My car is missing a hardline on the rack, so I can't use it.

Take it to Fact-O-Bake, and have them paint it. It doesn't really Need to be show quality paint, just not so eye grabbing. If you want more than that, try to get a heat shield. Go to the dealer for that.
