My bolts backed out of my Greddy once. One was all the way out, and the other was hanging by a couple of threads before I finally figured out why the car wasn't acting right for a couple of days. It finally blew it off enough to make it obvious.

Could you not have cleaned that engine bay up a little before you dropped that 2J in. Looks like you got carried away with the sleeper theme.

You also didn't mention timing it with a light in your list. Fix the 51, and then recheck that timing.
