It was intentional....I got tired of the old hose rubbig against my painted cover. When I open up the cover with a plexiglas window I cant have it rubbing. Just take the time to measue and cut the hose while it is on the pipe to the radiator.

I took the plunge to home depot to make an upper radiator hard pipe out of the chromed brass J tube used in sinks.lol It looks just like the ones everyone is selling for 80.00. It cost $7.00. I just cut off the threaded end, and cut it to the correct size and used the stock rubber hose to attach...
Thank god you listened to me finally. Those pumps may pump but mine was pumping at a very low rate. When chevyeater and I tested it it barely pumped! Dont forget I am having an englishtown meet Oct 22 2005.
new oil pump off ebay 130.00. Why worry when you can be worry free. Don't forget you don't want to do this twice. If you had to do it 2x it will cost time and money.
Don't forget to shim the relief valve. Also NEVER put rods in withou resizeing them to 0 stock tolerances. Why trust they are...
NO You cant trust a 15 year old pump. Yes you can if the pump never fails. Your choice, but my car failed because my old tired fuel pump gave up under no boost and leaned out and detonated a piston. Why let 85.00 ruin your day! I told ya this pon supra forums. You have been WARNED!
Well you need to have a plumbed port for the turbo like in the stock setup. Accordingto the great chevyeater when it goes in to boost you need the vacuum from the turbo to take care of the pcv like it is set up in stock. Chevy is the man. I had my set up venting to atmosphere and you could see...
