Is you glass installed correctly, and is it rolling all the way up? Has it been replaced? There is a slight difference between targa and non-targa glass. It could have been replaced with the wrong part. Another suspect area could be behind the black B-Pillar molding just behind the glass on...

Stock, as in still using an unmodified J-Tube, and stock return lines. You need to remove the restriction in the J-tube by either drilling it out or bypassing it.

Don't ever just assume BHG, verify it. Do a compression check on it. A compression tester can be had for about $30 and is easy to use. It is possible that you have a blown turbo and a pin hole in the coolant hose at the back of the head (or elsewhere).

How much power are you guessing you will make? There are several 800+hp MKIII's with various engines. I'd say if you plan to run that much power or more, you should do it with the assumption that you will break things eventually.

You left out rust around the wiper blade. That can hide under the little cover. But it sounds like your leak is tail light seals. Mine to. There is a drain plug at the bottom of your pool.
