I functionally have 2 catch cans. One vacuum line off the back of the FFI going to the left side of the catch can, and the other port going to a PCV valve thats in between the hose, and the metal tube coming from the valve covers. The end of the pcv pipe that went to the turbo intake is going to...

Thats what I did.....Took a spare fuel rail to the machine shop and had him make a hole dead center and tap it the same size as the front feeder. I used the feul damper as a feed the center as the return and get fuel feeding from both ends equally. CSI still in place also.;)
An extra 700-900 rpm isn't taht much of a deal if the parts are not 200k old.lol;) Great info sean
If the parts are new 7m valve springs I may try this. The stock seated pressure is about 36-40psi seated. For 70.00 2nd day shipping the competition cam springs are a steal if you arent going over...
Thanks Rich.....awesome information to know. I knew that this was proven to be a decent spring from this data that you offered in that thread. You guys now have the low down on a very good competitively priced upgrade path.
As I recall they sat at the same installed height as the BC springs which made the installed seated pressure to be higher. I think they came close to the BC seated pressure at that seated height Starscream. I am glad you recall something to this as well.
The real question Jdub is how much rpm is going to be run, and take it from there. So ar I have found going to 7200rpms to be fine with the Comp Cams. If you are going to run much higher I'd go Ferrea or better. IJ did't you get some customs done?

The only advantage to the AEM is ease of use. There isn't IMHO a flexiblity to do things like direct fire tuning as can be done with other units, and also it is made for specific plug, and play to supra wire harness's only. So you can only sell it to a supra owner who most likey wants it...
Very interesting thread here.....I have the 272 cams from BC and I ended up advancing the intake 2 degrees only to get the most power, and any other way caused a power loss. Any way I have at least a 3 litre or slightly larger intake in combination with these cams. soooo......whats my possible...
This is based on the chart at compettion cams; However Suprarich did a report back in the BC cam group buy thread where he addressed that while at the stock seated height the Competition cams have a greater seated pressure, which I recall was about equal to the BC springs, or higher. You may...

I have been running a 7400rpm red line, an have so far revved to 7200rpms successfully. I think that I had a discssion with a tech that said 72-7400rpms will be fine.
LOl you know this to be an opinion for sure Starscream. Where's your supporting evidece to factually back up this statement about the Comp cams being stronger. I have used the 975 from Competition cam for years, and now while using my 272 BC cams I have had no issuses so far. However I will not...
