DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see what the reaction would be. He did have my faded red(and a few others) at the house this weekend.
BTW.......if he doesn't fix those dame fire alarms, he's gonna have trouble sleeping with a blue car outside:naughty:

I just don't think FWD is natural! We have a 10 sec civic around here too. I just don't like em. If you want a sports car, don't wait for your mom to wear it out first if you ask me. To each his own though.
My favorite FWD would be the integra that was at the Steele (AL) meet this weekend. I...
Forcedtorque = Scott. I hate my car was not there to better identify me with. Maybe next year will be a lot different for me in that respect. I will be coming back.
I know they slept for at least 9 of those hours too. We left Tim pulling the starter when we left at 8 sat morning. They were through with it when we came back at 4:30. So, that's 6 1/2 hours Saturday and 2 1/2 Friday night. Of the 6 1/2 hours, I don't know how much they worked on it. So it was...
I had an XTD and loved it, but that was long before anything but intake and exhaust. I'd go to CKandersons store A2motorsports (I think), and get an ACT disc for like $139, and swap those out. Then, go with some sort of other PP, as the XTD is painted stock.
^At least 3. I can remember Keith and Darkspeed, and then there was a nice clean white one that I don't know who was driving it. There may have been 1 or 2 more, but I just woke up.
The car made great strides this weekend, for the first time in a good while. I went to Birmingham for the speedforsale meet at the Steele track. I stayed at Jay's house, and got to meet his hillbilly mechanics that help him regularly. They did my clutch swap in a little over 2 hours. Here's a...
Do you still have, or can you borrow a 2 piece for testing? That would be a logical place to start. If that doesn't solve the problem, you may want to consider Ian's post next.
Thank Ricky and Tim for me again!!!!!!!!!!!
I also just got my dash lights fixed as well. And the injector wire they diagnosed as my long hunted miss will be an easy fix as well. It is my rookie wiring skills fault. Too bad it was mentioned as I was leaving. I'll get it fixed though, and it...
Great post Jay, I agree with it all. I just wanted to highlight some of the attention his MKII gets. They get so lost and unmentioned when amongst the MKIV and MKIII crowd.
Thank You for a great time, my wonderful hosts. I had a great time, and my car benefited with a nice new clutch, a headed off problem with my starter, fixed some shorted wires, and fixed my speedometer cable. It was a very beneficial quick trip. All that, and the two highlights in this order...
I just made it home 300 miles on the new set up, and it ran great. There was a little bit of change to the planned set up. First off, my FW looked brand new. I didn't use the stock PP as planned. We re-used the Centerforce PP, and just swapped the disc out for the ACT that Jay had. I still have...
We are going to find out tonight! I'm going with a stock PP, and as far as I know we don't have a place to get it resurfaced. Surely it will hold better than the shit I have now. I am not extremely hard on my car at all. 98% I stay in a small town and at 50MPH or less. I will occasionally...
There will be no racing, as I have not got the car tuned. I just need a decent car for daily driving for now. If there is a cruise up in the hills of Birmingham, I need a clutch that will allow me to climb a hill. What I have is slipping a good bit.
