If you (or anyone else reading this) broke off any material in attempts to get it off, you would be better served to trash it as soon as it comes off. You don't want an unbalanced hunk of metal at the front of your rotating assembly.

***Update*** I have now taken care of the problem with my injector wire. I first pulled the connector, and put my multimeter on it. I got a constant 13.75Volts out of it, with the only fluctuation was to 13.76. So, as I put it back on the injector, I noticed that it actually went through two...
