Plugged oil return line, small / clogged / poor quality filter, Wrong or lack of pre lube / priming of turbo (internals already damaged).
How long have you let the car run since the turbo being rebuilt?
I dunno.... thats one sexy mk3. Typical mods, looks like he just got frustrated with getting a down pipe and exhaust made for it.
Those are the best rocking sawblades I have seen btw.
Sure it does. You know when your turbo comes online, then start your dyno at 1k below that.
If you start a dyno run at 2k or lower, you're only asking to start breaking sh!t.
I would also have to agree that e10-e20 is THE MAX you should go.
E fuels have less calories than a straight petrol fuel.
That being said, its harder for your computer to compensate.
Yup! Seen several gear failures due to Lucas oil stabilizer. Reason being? It retains soooo much air that it turns into a froth rather than a protective oil.
Greg:
Nothing wrong with it at all. Ive run the 30w all summer long with no problems with oil pressure.
STAY FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM the Luc@ss or any other oil additive.
When you die can I have your supra & 1j?
LOL jk! Mark you know I would never wish any thing like that, but good luck. I gave up my running days long ago. Size 12 1/2's just don't match with 5'10 legs.
