What kind of rear end are you going to use? LSD or open diff... Dont run that power through an open diff, trust me, I know... You'll do a 180 off the starting line... I was only pullin 360 to the wheels and didnt realize my lsd had crapped out on me, so I was peg leggin, and it would yank me...
Ah, I posted pics... ;) I just havent clear coated it yet, Im waiting on a check owed me so i can go buy a spray gun... I'll get pics up soon as Im done...
Yeah, I sprayed one of the plates that covers the hardlines on the firewall... Im gunna test that first... Nice thing about this clear coat is that it can take the heat, so Im gunna clear the parts of my motor that I painted... I gotta get a little spray gun...
My only concern is that the paint I used for the engine bay might react with the clear coat... I used high temp ceramic paint to cover the engine bay, not knowing that I would eventually try this clear coat stuff... I dunno if anyone has tried to clear coat rattle can paint, but any tips would...
So there are only 6 bolts that hold the rear subframe on? I think what I may do is drop mine before I put the motor in... Ive never inspected it, and I think it might be a good idea to reinforce it some... Any pointers on where I should look to strengthen and where cracks tend to form?
Look harder, when you see the words: "Im selling a car for someone" let me know... If someone were interested in this car, I would be glad to put them in contact with the owner, and they can work out the details... If you see a nice Supra in your area that you think someone might be interested...

Im not actually selling the car, its not mine... This is my version of the Teal supra thread, lol... I know alot of guys are totally against the 350 in a Supra, but, this is a pretty nice set up, and would be a fun insta-torque street/strip car for a really low...
Saw this today... Its really interesting how well a 350 will drop in... Its using the stock motor mount locations, no real modification there... Interior is blue leather, VERY preserved... White, needs some paint... Driver fender needs some work, small dent... Hard top... Originally an NA... So...
One reason my build is taking longer than expected is because I dont want to cut any corners, so if I have to wait to save to get the parts I want, I will, and have... Atleast its something relatively easy to replace and not too costly... You'll get it knocked out man...
Did you have the motor out? *didnt look back through the thread* I know my starter WAS good before I took it out, Im sure it still is, but, Im going to definately buy a new starter before I put the motor back in... I know from experience how big a pain in the ass it is to swap in a new one when...

Hero: yeah, it's a nice feelin knowin its coming, but I just hate waiting... And thanks, I think the engine bay will look all right... A LOT better than it did, thats for sure... Im just not a paint and body guy...
