    NEw SUPRA

I cAn TALk k00l 2 On a more serious note, build a boost leak tester and use it. Check your codes, too. You might want to check your ISC, as that could cause the idle problem and the boost leak, too. Do a search, there are detailed instructions for everything I mentioned.

The STI I can never have

I've only gone 140 in the Supra. I bet that was fun, the STI kinda feels like a go kart (in the light, quick and nimble way, not the noisy boring and lame way). If you're ever in the neighborhood, let's go fast somewhere

Anyone ever built a garage from scratch?

I've refurbished one, roof and all. It was pretty gay, not gonna lie. Putting a new one up would have been easier and cheaper

7M hit 18psi with stock AFM and still very rich...

Yeah, you better learn how to launch in between now and then, too. Everyone called you and that MkIV dyno queens

    Backing Out of Supra Community

It is absofuckinglutely NOT $7 an hour here! Boosting makes a huge difference in gas mileage, but not as huge as having things like an unclogged (or just no) cat, new O2 sensors, new plugs and wires, fuel and air filter, stuff like that. Little stuff like that can kill you. Even with me...

    IndyMK3

Check the coolant lines going to the turbo, I've seen people forgot to hook those up and coolant goes every where. $1800 would be a pretty serious BHG job, I'd figure on way less for the minimal work required to do a hg. If you're REALLY only looking at BPU (assuming upgraded CT, around 400rw)...

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

Nah man, I'm not knocking it. It's just silly to think about. I'd love to give it a try if I could fab up the manifold and stuff

i need help, another no start thread

It's just trying to save you from a BHG! Wish my car was that nice. On a more serious note, you've been told how to find the problem. Trace the wiring in the circuit diagrams posted until you find the short. I'd say it's likely an old, brittle wire snapped somewhere and it's now grounding...

    Problem with blowoff valve

Wrong section =] These cars run an AFM, so when a ton of air suddenly disappears (via BOV) the motor will run rich and sometimes stall out. If you insist on using a non-recirculated BOV, you need to find one with a diaphragm that can be adjusted or get your car tuned for it.

I'm not debating that, it's just silly to think about.

    Rod Knock, Bearing Replacement

I have the $50 red neck rod knock fix car. Worked for the previous owner, still working for me. This is the PO's write up for it, good luck. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39754

    Holset turbos?

Holset HY35 is the way to go. Smaller exhaust housing for faster spool. The HY35, HX35, and HX40 could all easily do your goal power level, not sure about the other two. I'll direct MDC to this thread, he can give you more detailed information.

Is the W58 a forgiving trans?

There isn't anything special to chirping the tires... In first, rev up a little and dump the clutch, there ya go. Going in to second, shift fast. Ta da
