Wow, beating an LS1 is pretty big for cars like ours =) Too bad it broke though... even if the owner made up stupid excuses the car shouldn't have to suffer!

I never removed my stock line, I just kind of cut and tucked it away =\ Maybe if I have to take the engine out someday I'll get rid of the bit that's there but it really doesn't affect anything having it there.
I soldered mine and wish I repinned them. I didn't have much experience and didn't know it was so easy to de-pin a connector until I did it to a few others later on =)
I've always wondered, how effective is the stock heat shield? I've run with mine off but only for a trip up and down the block so I wouldn't be able to compare. The engine bay is extremely hot all the time so I've been considering a blanket too.
Man, I tried my hardest to arrange my schedule so I wouldn't have classes on Friday but couldn't. 2 days of classes a week would just leave me with nothing to do! Luckily all my evenings are free and my only classes on fridays are Logic and Chemistry lab :naughty:

I run a walbro on a pretty stock engine (just boltons). I figure the FPR will still keep the fuel pressure the same even if the pump is higher flow and the extra fuel will just go return to the tank. I did delete the J-tube and do the 12V mod though =) Still, I'm going to get an AFPR just for...
