Rebuild it man! Dont' part it out or give up on it. It appears you're some what lucky - you didnt' loose the whole car and the fire didn't enter into the complete interior. I see that the fire was localized towards the center and near the fire wall. Is there a fuel line back there?

Fix it now.... quick! It will take you less than a week for your first time. As for storing the car? Put decon inside the car with some dryer sheets. The mice don't like the smell and if they do get in there, they eat the decon and GO OUTSIDE the car to get something to drink (and die).

Check the grounding wires under the intake manifold Peter. They should be white and brown. Check for tightness and clean contacts.
