He's swapping the 7M-GTE into the 89 N/A, but has intercooler piping from an 88. Which is fine by the way, 88 had the same I/C piping as 89+, only 87 was different. Jeff

Toyota uses twin-ground electrode spark plugs in a few different engines, I'm not 100% sure why, but they do seem to run better with them installed. Jeff

You will probably need a 2JZ-GTE rear housing (16120-88400) to use this on a 1JZ-GTE with a factory hydrofan setup. Jeff

Agreed, don't use any sealant, use the gasket only. Sealant should be used where sealant is called for, likewise for gaskets. Jeff
