1jz's do have coolers factory. It's a sand which coolant cooled. If you want your oil temp under rad temp then I would run water cooled to air cooled.

You do not use a gasket on any, especially the fire ring (the bottom that seals the valve. That's why it has the tapered seat. It also puts the correct preload on the valve as well.
You don't need a gasket for the dump, unless your going to do recirc.

Correct. Doesn't matter if you has a 20" Bbk, your going to stop the same distance as stock as long as you can put the tire to the limit on the stock setup.
Now if you shaved weight, you would reduce stopping distance on both setups equally. Same with stickier tires.
