Both cars run a cam position sensor. It is needed for both. The CPS is a part of the distributor on the 7MGE. You can not run a GE computer on a GTE. The ECU will not fire the sparkplugs right. The GTE uses a coil pack with three triggers, the GE with a distributor uses just one. The 7MGE...
