    WOT TPS %

I would settle for sequential injection, another OBD II requirement. MDC, a tool we used at the dealer is the one JJ mentioned, the gas analyzer. They are 4 or 5 gas. And the 4 works just fine. It tells you what is really going on inside the combustion chamber. It is an expensive toy, but an...

    Injector Stuck

Do not hold the injector "on". Max on time is still only milliseconds. A quick on and off. I have seen electrical solenoids stuck from contamination, but I don't see it with a new unit.

    The idiot mechanic strikes again.........

I don't want to hijack your thread, thruth is, I do it a lot. But here is a story for you. This was in West Denver. And in Denver, Toyota is much more popular a car than were I grew up in the midwest. So a man brings his 92 pickup in for ticking. I pull the valve cover with feeler gauge in...

    WOT TPS %

That is right JJ. WOT is Wide Open Throttle. I know you know what it means. I think you were under the impression I was refering to when the ECU goes to full duty cycles. I am not. WOT is when the pedal has been put to the floor, and the cable pulls the throttle plate wide open. DTC is a term...

    WOT TPS %

It is supposed to do that. When crusing, you will be in closed loop most of the time, when the catalyst is up to operating temps. 14.7:1 is not optimum for the engine, but for the cat. So feedback is done to insure you do not pollute. If you open the throttle, or go up a hill, load on the...

I saw your shiny new one. :)

    The idiot mechanic strikes again.........

The CT26 is one of the worst priced turbochargers I have ever seen, no doubt. So is the intercooler. Their intercooler and all the piping is more than the HK$ unit IIRC. That is good to hear, but they are rebuilt parts, not new. And I think that is what you were gettting at. I will stand...

    NA-T block - No Oil Squirters..Problem?

I noticed in IJ's cliff notes, he was using a GE block. So obviously, it can be done to great extent.

    Car Wont Start WTF :(

Perhaps the battery cables(the big ones that go to the starter) have high resistance in them. This can be seen by green dust on the ends. Heat increases the resistance.

    The idiot mechanic strikes again.........

You ever see how many threads here have that? That was all I am getting at. Good for you if you don't. I really hope you aren't looking for low bid on your car. What does turbo have to do with anything? Since when does Toyota not work on a Supra Turbo? I do know that some Toyota dealers...

    The idiot mechanic strikes again.........

I know where your problem lies. For many on this board too. "where is the cheapest I can insert anything hereget it done". Mistakes do happen.

    WOT TPS %

It isn't the primary sensor for injector duration, but it is the primary for WOT. That is a good point though. Injection is mostly dependent on airflow and rpm, and the TPS is there to let the ECU know your intentions.

    Engine Dyno

With an auto it will. The fluid coupling changes the torque multiplication when you change the input.

Front cams for camber adjustment seized- UPDATED-both sides nearly done!

Depends on where you live. I did my own, obvisously on the blue 87 I had a few years ago. No rust, no stuck.

Global Warming is over. (Really, it is. No joke.)

As already stated, if you work for "big oil" that does not change the information. And Joel, your not a liberal. In fact, you are already automatically disqualified.

    Got my Supra!!!

Nice. That is how I like them. 89 rear, with 87-88 front. I personally prefer 89 rear without any spoiler. But enough hi-jack. Nice looking ride.

That was a loaded comment. LOL. Richard S. Lindzen, an atmospheric science professor at MIT Sallie Baliunas, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics Willie Soon an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics Nicola Scafetta, an associate...
