You don't have NAPA or Carquest type stores in the outback? You can get the right size hose. Manufactured is better, the shape is correct, but a generic heater hose will do if that is all you have.

Because the pulse width is wrong. Then you have to scale the airflow meter to get it right, when the right injector is the way to do it. RPM and airflow are the base mapping inputs. And now the airflow is a lie.
