Correct Flow Rate of PTE 550cc injectors

Upon further review, it says injectors support 90% duty cycle, not flow rate tested at. Thanks for the info.

Correct Flow Rate of PTE 550cc injectors

I was going to say no. The SAFC was simply accomidating the incorrect injector size, now that we see in hindsight. The factory 1UZFE injectors are calibrated to the anticpated airflow and meter size of the engine.

    CODE !@#!$$%%!

Did you know, many cars headed to warm climates do have different features, such as rear window defrost delete. However, coolant line delete is not one of them. Reading on volatility is a good start. Liquids don't burn, vapors do. And you need to heat liquids to make them a vapor. Luckily...

    CODE !@#!$$%%!

Why do you think the coolant lines on the throttle body? It isn't there because it looks neat. Why not just pick up a 98 Camaro Z28 if money is that easy? I am not against project swaps, especially with a good engine like that. I just don't get trying to put a round peg in the square hole.

5me headgasket the same as 5mge?

That is not possible. The 7M has design flaws. ;) Nice car by the way.

Correct Flow Rate of PTE 550cc injectors

So this would make the PTE injectors too big for the LEX/550 upgrade, knowing Toyota's test is at 100% for 15 seconds. I wondrer how many have had problems using this 580 injector and didn't know it wasn't a 550.

    Electrical fun

Did you pay attention to what happened to the generator? Don't take your cables off when the car is running. I get some things at autozone, like air fresheners. And oil.

    o2 sensor

At least you installed and timed it correctly. Many here can't do it after 12 tries.

    CODE !@#!$$%%!

51 doen't mean change your TPS. In fact, no code means change a part. It means the circuit is outside of its parameters.

    Interior light problem

So after 10 years of ownership and 5 cars, the fact that my rivets have never been bad is just luck huh? I don't know 1J, how common is it?:biglaugh:

    o2 sensor

The oxygen sensor is for cruise speeds and light accleration fuel trim. And only after the engine is warm.

    Transmission/clutch differences??

Yes and yes. The friction disc is made to match the input shaft of the turbo trans.

    Electrical fun

My coworker had a small accident at work. He had repaired some faulty wiring on the fuel solenoid that was preventing it from runing. This is a 60kw 50/60 generator. He noticed the positive cable was loose on the starting system. He went to tighten it, with the generator still running and it...

    tranny usage?

In countries where they drive on the wrong side of the road, they have JZA70's stock. One owner said the automatic was called A342E, not 340. I would assume it to be similar, but your bellhousings are different.
