The auto trans computer needs a couple of signals from the engine control unit. You should be able to send the signals over if you are going stand alone.

You have to test the large wire on the starter. It has constant power. The small one is switch power from the ignition. The antitheft, clutch start, neutral start are all in that circuit. If you don't have power on the small wire when cranking, you need to check the circuit and those switches in it.

How about more detail, since US pumps are typically 10% anyway. You gain no power from a fuel with lower BTU content, all else being equal. If you are running 89 all the time in your Supra Turbo, you are losing power from stock. The ethanol, if you found something a little higher, will raise...

No. There is no MA71 model. 1 is the series in the VIN indicating turbo model.

I am also preferential to stock clean bodies. Lowered with MKIV wheels is perfectly acceptable.
