I don't know. I have had no need to measure clutches when I changed them.
It dooesn't do any good to have a disc bigger than the pressure plate, or flywheel. If it event fits over the dowl pins. As for theory, you have more surface area but didn't increase the clamping force. That will lower...
One more time. Do you have a way to check output? If you don't, find somebody else that does. Or you will end up swapping parts until you find the culprit.
Well, the proper diagnostic procedure is to use a scope on the output. If you have it, then check at the connector, and all the way back to the computer. Chances are, you will have lost it at the connector. The onse here I have read did a hard wire, and got rid of the quick disconnect. I...
There has been threads over the years regarding the 89 harness when swapped to different years. I don't remember all the details, but they are not direct fit. As you already know. Make sure the 7.5 gauge fuse is also proper. When you look for why the ECU isn't getting power.
It doesn't. What does is the volume of air through the air flow meter and engine speed. A bigger turbo when pushed does get worse milage than a stock turbo, as the turbo is moving more air through the engine.
I think he has a Skyline and an Integra Type R from the late 90's. I like my auto. As already stated, a proper planetary gearset will waste a manaul trans every time at the track.
Item number 1 is an air flow meter, not a mass air flow meter. No, you shouldn't put the meter in spot number 2.
A MAF conversion can be done that way.
In one of my old school books. It shows data a and b. On the schematic it shows those wires with IGf and IGt. I could scan it, but it is probably on autoshop101 anyway.
On cylinder 1 and 6 it shows a at 0 and b at 1. 3 and 4 are both 0. 2 and 5 is a at 1 and b at 0.
edit: unless 2 and 5...
Yeah, Kenny knows how it works. I assume he also has the schematic.
That is strange. I don't know how you do it without the IGt and data a and b signals to turn on the igniter. Data a is on, and data b is off (for 2 and 5), and that comes from the ECU to the igniter. A genuine ECU...
Code 12 prevents starting. You don't have your pickup, as in engine position and speed, so injection is halted. Err, not started. A few people here have had age issues, and the wiring is bad.
