This outta be good... WHAT DEFINES A RICER?!?!?!?!?!

Did you miss the license plate? KBL= Kabul Anyway, the whole car is like that. It has "Turbo" on the side in script that looks very similar to JZA80 "Supra" script.

This outta be good... WHAT DEFINES A RICER?!?!?!?!?!

Yes. And it didn't start with Honda's, or even Japanese cars.

    Painting the CT26 Heat shield?

I used flat black. I didn't see the need for gloss, but as I think about it, I don't remember gloss for BBQ. It withstands high heat, and will resist corrosion. It is good stuff.

    Painting the CT26 Heat shield?

So buy an old beater Chevy Truck with a TBI 350 and run them down in the parking lot. :naughty: ---------- Post added at 09:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:56 PM ---------- You are 180 degrees out. That is stock. What is different is the K&N intake, the Bosch bypass valve, and...

    7mgte pistons and crank in a 7mge?

The clearances on the crankshaft are select fit. GE or GTE has nothing to do with it. And as long as it is apart, get pistons with more compression. 9.5:1 if you plan on adding boost later.

    Painting the CT26 Heat shield?

Yep. High temp engine paint starts at 250-500. Meaning constant 250, peaks at 500. It will not handle it. Get barbaque grill paint. It is constant 500, up to 1000. I have it, it can hold. You can see it, sort of, under/behind the intake pipe.

The Luxocruiser 3650 lb sled thread

I put the profec under the radio in the little cubby hole that goes with aftermarket radios. A little piece of 3M two sided tape holds it nicely. I drilled two holes in the back, and ran the wires under the dash to an existing hole that comes out under the booster. I am probably not the first...

    Need help choosing a turbo!

I will concur on the Boss Jr. I know of all the complaints of SupraSport, and their "failure to communicate", but my product from them is very good. In fact, all the products of theirs that I have gotten are very good. The Boss Jr wasn't meant for 500 hp. Keep that in mind, but meant as a more...

    Starter Brand?

Ask for a 91-92 reman starter. You will know it is the later starter because it has threaded holes instead of a bolt with a nut. A bolt and nut is better for stretch, but the threaded hole is easier to deal with in your driveway. I have gone through some reman alternators from Napa by Bosch...

    Transmission factory settings?

There are several valves that effect pressure, and they work with each other directly and in opposition. Your primary regulator valve is controlled by the throttle. That is the cable from the throttle body to the trans. You don't need full pressure all the time. At the lowest setting, it will...

    Car Stalls (auto) HELp Needed

Rest assured, no cat after the turbo or pipe after the down pipe isn't causing a stall. You plant your foot on the accelerator, and as soon as it hits 3000, it dies?

    Soup caught fire.

Next time don't open the hood without an extinguisher. You fed it a large volume of fresh air, where as it only had a little before.

I ordered the discontinued Profec B spec 2 in black. Silver is ugly and doesn't match the interior. I might retest at about 13 psi assuming it can hold it. It did 255 at 10.1 psi on a Mustang loaded dyno. I also trapped 102 at that boost level with Boss Jr. That is 4 mph faster than the CT26 was...

OMG I need an effin Access Cover for my Fuel Pump! *pics*

I used to work on the line at Toyota. Then I went to an Audi dealer, and back to Toyota. I never had a problem getting to a fuel pump. Raise the car, lower the tank. I understand your fustration of working in the garage at the house as I have been doing it for 7 years now.

    Wheel Choices

From the 3 choices, I keep the original white package wheels. Especially with the blue interior instead of burgandy.

    Alternator relocation bracket doesn't fit??

Why suggest a different one? With the complaints I have read regarding (SS)customoer service? Because quality of product being poor from them has to be rare. The things I have bought that they(LIPP) made have been first rate quality.

89 supra runs good when cold but like crap when hot.

The only reason to ever run "cold" is because it is easier to vaporize fuel when hot than when cold. So it is run richer when cold to keep it easy to light. Leaving it a little richer would only give you a little worse milage.

Maintenance. The car was charging, even in this bad of condition. Just not good. And then the nut was froze the rectifier, and the stud on it broke. I found it online. Toyota seems to have corrected their $400 price, back to $120. So I changed it and the brushes as long as it was off. Now...
