The book says 2500, and I haven't seen it. Mine is also about 1900. That will cut about 2.667 60' with a turbo that comes in about 2500, and is pulling hard at 3500.
That they are. The last 7MGE I saw run rich, black smoke and all, it had the airflow meter tampered with. The owner loosened the spring on the door because he read it on the internet.
The part number in the review section was for Saab and Porsche. Is the Audi speced bypass valve the same unit? The Saab is the heavy duty unit. I use that one with my T04E 57.
While I have seen some good dyno's posted with this turbo, I have also seen many posts like this one from dissatisfied users over the unit being a POS.
Why not just get a bolt on? Bolt on meaning it bolts to the elbow/downpipe pattern and the stock manifold. You will need lines to go with it, but still. You will have way more power. For example, I went 18 mph faster than stock with my Boss Jr with exhaust and a boost controller to hold 14 psi.
I cut a notch in the heat shield so I could reclock the water line that is too long. I didn't like it over the power steering resevoir, not that it hurt anything. Now the extra length is under the intake hose. Which is clearly visible, just not in this side shot.

The radiator should have a draincock. Drain a little bit of coolant below the thermostat, then use the hose clamp pliers on the hose. Of course, if you don't own that tool....It is going to spill out. Taking off the timing cover should only take a couple of minutes. I would like to see a picture...
