Where do you get this nonsense? Are you trying to claim a better rod ratio and that is why it is better? The size of the connecting rod doesn't effect its strength, aside from the bigger it is stronger. I wonder if International and Cummins know they are doing it wrong and need shorter rods...
I like the "upgrade" in that it doesn't down grade. It is cosmetic, in that many people don't want the coil pack in that spot. I like the change over, but haven't done it because it isn't needed.

It is the owner, not the car....

I know, I know, that 430, not 400. I can do a hell of a lot more than that for $6500. That is what I have in my car, including the car.
The JZA80 has an aluminum hood and roof. I would go with a fiberglass hood over CF. The whole weave thing just looks incredibly gay and does not fit the upscale style of the Supra.
I don't think so. The Supra went from 185 lb/ft to 188 lb/ft of torque. Or something like that. I don't recall the torque of the Cressida off the top of my head. And a slightly heavier crankshaft woulnd't net more power.
Measure the airflow reading. The karman vortex air flow meter measures volume and puts out a frequency varied signal. More volume, more Hz. There is a book spec, that I don't have in front of me. It is something like 30Hz at idle, and a lot more at 1500 rpm. It isn't in the repair manual. Sadly.
Locally a kid had 1JZ swap and ran a 15.10 @ 110 with a GT40. And a 5 speed.
It has a bigger engine. Trap speed only shows peak horsepower, not "area under the curve". Which technically, isn't about a dyno but a flowbench. But the term has been adapted.
What? Got to love the internet.....
I was wondering why you went with the HK$ set up over the MAFT-Pro. I am not telling you that you are wrong, don't misunderstand. I still have a Lex meter myself.
