    You pulled the camera away from the tach when you needed it there most. Noise could be the input shaft with the pump. There is a bushing in it.

    I don't know anything about Haltech EMS. My guess is the same as yours. The harness they made is wrong/doesn't work, if it worked before they did it. So if you hook up the tach signal to the tach, and the tach doesn't work, then my guess is the harness isn't what it is supposed to be.

    The 12V mod doesn't change anything for starting. The default of the relay is 12V. And since the FP to B+ runs the pump, that should narrow down your diagnostic search real quick.

    Many car owners are that way. I don't know how much other work you do in your shop, but customers priorities were never mine. When it gets hot, fix that A/C. No money for the blown shock or and humming wheel bearing or tires, just fix the A/C.

    Get a standard support like the JZA80. Less weight if nothing else.

    At 8 psi, it should be pulling much harder than a CT26. Even my Boss Jr at 5-6 is pulls much harder than stock.

    Cylinder head cover number 3, as well as both cam covers. Seepage from old age. I also have my oversized 29,000 BTU trans cooler to install.
