Went to the drag strip for the first time ever, put down some crappy times, advice?

The computer for the trans learns shifting patterns and adjusts. It doesn't do it as well as newer stuff, but it still does it. Run it manually a few times. Meaning full throttle up to 5500 rpm, then shift to 2 and 3 yourself. It will not shift immediately, there is a delay. Your car has many...

Went to the drag strip for the first time ever, put down some crappy times, advice?

Not true about weight shift occuring easier. Weight shift would happen if the car was traveling on solid beams. The same goes for suspension and handling with spring rates. The weight transfer still happens. But the suspension improvements allow the contact patches to remain intact. And besides...

    A/C fixed! or is it?

Sure it can. A 7MGE ignition system just fixed itself. Want to see the thread? Sent from intel processor via binary language.

    BIC Downpipe vs EBay

So was the original Defcon Downpipe. Made in China, sent over for $40. Sold to you all for $400. Or so the automotive gnomes told me. Sent from computer via my keyboard.

Without changing the PCM. Just a guess....and that is from way over here.

I am pretty sure ebay does not manufacture any downpipes.

    MX-83 Cressida questions. 7M-GTE swap?

The A340E with the 7MGTE engine has an extra friction and steel in the clutch pack, and a larger piston to apply. So it does hold more. I don't think it would be too hard.

MAFT-PRO vs. MAP ECU vs. HKS VPC

I am not sure how you got that knowing a mass airflow sensor tells you the actual air mass, hence the name. No, that is speed density that is a guess. Which is why people "tune it" to get it right. Speed density is a very good guess, don't misunderstand.

MAFT-PRO vs. MAP ECU vs. HKS VPC

Yes. It is a shame that the MA70 didn't use that technology that came out in the mid 80's. The bridged resistors in the mass airflow meter can "count" the air molecules. Speed density is a calculated guess. Mass airflow is more accurate and works better for what it is trying to do.

    Air Conditioner Problem

Or it is correct. There are only bubbles when there is an over or undercharge. I know, you are already planning it. The fan doesn't turn on unless the high side pressure switch closes. If your compressor does not engage, you will not get high side pressure.

MAFT-PRO vs. MAP ECU vs. HKS VPC

No MA70 owner does. Which is a shame, becaue unlike speed density, you don't have to deal with it.

What maintenance would you do immediately after purchase, no matter what?

Things that are worn and out of specs for nomral operation. That doesn't exist as you think. Common failure are parts that wear out sooner than others. For example, brake pads. They create a clamping force through friction, converting the forward kinetic energy into heat energy. That is the...

New CT26 dyno 573lbs of torque

70 mph isn't 4th. I noticed also. Nor is it the top of 3rd in an R154 or W58. Calibration is wrong, things are amiss. And that isn't heresy.

What maintenance would you do immediately after purchase, no matter what?

I wouldn't do anything until the I inspected the car.

Intermittent misfire, car randomly sounds like a lawnmower. Codes 14 and 43.

If I was sitting in Luxor and they offered a line that you need an ECU, I would go against the spread.

I have seen an ignitor that would fail when it was warm. It certainly isn't common, but it can happen.
