It's a catch 22. More squat = more camber = less contact patch.
Keep it simple, run what you have then get sticky tires, after that mess with suspension setup.
The ONLY way a larger turbo is going to increase pressures in the cooling system is if it's lifting the head (i.e. BHG). Excessive pressure in the cooling system is classic signs of a leak. It's either BHG which pushes combustion gasses into the cooling system, or it's a pinhole leak that...
Namely timing (even without timing control used, piggybacks mess with timing curves anything they're tuned)
Honestly, you have other issues if you're getting that much pressure. The higher pressure cap is a band aid at this point...
Oil has come a long way and doesn't coke us as easily. Water cooled turbos will still cool after the car is turned off as well.
Stay well clear of Lucas...
That has silicone replacements for all the IC pipes, NICE! While people will say to support our vendors, none of them carry something like that (though some of them may be able to get it at a better price)
If you have the piping, measure it, it's the easiest way. The stock worm gear clamps are stronger than most worm clamps as well.
There are a LOT of different part numbers for the clamps if that indicates anything. Showing 8 different part numbers and there are 12 clamps total (not including...
OK, fine, I'll stick strictly to what you're saying. Guess what, JDM 7M gets worse gas milage than the USDM (2-3MPG)
EGR reduces pumping losses. I'm not the one talking around the point, you are. EGR is used for cruise where the motor is doing very little. EGR basicly lowers the...
EGR will get better milage. Less oxygen and fuel used during cruise means better fuel economy. That's where the less fuel and advanced timing with the ECU tuned for EGR comes from.
The only way to do the same thing is with cylinder deactivation.
Incorrect. It increases gas milage (by displacing air and the ECU gives less fuel and advances timing as EGR is also a knock reducer), lowers NOX emissions, and lowers EGT's at cruise. The issue with removing it without replacing the ECU is the ECU thinks it's there, so it advances timing and...
