    SP Turbo

YEAH! haha. A buddy was talking to me about efficency and what not... I told ron @ hpf I wanted bolt on, quick spool, and max of 15 PSI. he recomended what I wrote above. And you're right, I dont' know turbos, but i'm learning :) wouldn't 15 psi be more efficient on a sp58 than a...

    SP Turbo

I just got off the phone with Ron @ HPF and he suggested a SP63 with a .58 A/R How does that sound to you guys? Is it worth the upgrade even? I'm thinking this is going to be a much more efficient turbo, hoping anyway... will i see any power gains from it or shoudl I just bolt back on...

    SP Turbo

Why though? Wouldn't it be better to get a 58 trim for what my application is? The car will never see more than ~14 PSI so why get a turbo that wants to be at 20+ psi? If someone can give me a good reason then I'm all for it! But from what I understand (Very little :D) THe 58 would be...

    SP Turbo

I'm not really super-intelligent about turbo terminology and I'm not getting a wack load of help over at SF. SM has always answered my questions quickly, and politely so I hope the same goes for this question.... I just fried the stock CT26 on the 88T and was considering upgrading to a SP...

    My busted supra.

what happened to your engine? I'm buying a Jay Dee Ehm engine, so I have NO idea of the condition. What I am doing is tearing everything down, having a machine shop check specs, if everythings okay i'm going to have them polish the crank, hone the cylinders, hot tank everything and make it...

    Ummmm WTF Did I Do?

First, an IP address is an address for your computer, on the internet, so information knows where to go, similar to a house address. a static IP is an address that is manually assigned to a computer and is exactly that, static, it never changes, unless manually done so. a Dynamic IP is one...

    j-spec vs. a-spec

the problem is you hae NO idea what the condition of that engine is in. I would rather spend the 5-700 dollars for the rebuild (doing the labor yourself) than have to pull the engine out in a few thousand miles and rebuild it then because somthing fuct up. Oh. Wait. That's exactly what I'm...

    NA Pistons in a Turbo

That's what I'm tryin to do, find out all the precautions I would need to take. High Octane gas isn't that big of a deal, I'd maybe spend 20-40 more dollars a year

    NA Pistons in a Turbo

I'm not to terriably worried about gas mileage.... If I wanted good milage I wouldn't have sold my Accord :) That's what I'm torn between.... Fromhat I have gathered running 10-12 PSI would be awesome in terms of power... and I doubt I'd ever run more power than that till I could afford...

No 550's, just a lex? Are those the only relivent mods? Thanks, I'll see if I can get ahold of him hehe, you could have just stated I was never going to build 900rwhp and put a period after it. I doubt i'll ever get over 400 if that... unless I get a job where I can afford that much...
