No power locks, seats, or windows.

All that stuff is powered off the 30 amp CB down in the driver's side footwell. Try resetting it. Make sure the gauge fuse is good too.

CPS Has no marking for TDC?

Actually it's pretty obvious in your picture if you know how the thing works. Otherwise what he ^ said. If all else fails you can always RTFM...

    no spark!!!

The procedure involves holding the CPS in one hand and spinning the gear with the other. Highly technical stuff. You be welcome. I'm a Masshole myself. Plymouth born and raised. You know, the place where the Pilgrims first set foot on Fraggle Rock ;). And no, Thanksgiving is not my favorite...

Pfff...my screwdrivers are from Germany. The tips are diamond coated. Seriously ;)

Right. Make sure it's fully seated.

    Torque wrench for rebuild

Me thinks he knows the difference. My experience has been that, generally speaking, a person's tools reflect the quality of work one can expect from them.

    Electrical help

Right hell, it looks about perfect. Assuming no flat spots in VTA at around 25% throttle (typical of worn sensors) you've got a fully functioning and properly installed TPS there. VTA when closed is right at the midpoint of the 100 mv to 1 volt spec and although the TRSM states VTA open...

    no spark!!!

Of course a lack of ignition could be caused by a bad ground but measuring parasitic draw off the Mother Of All Grounds is not going to find it. If the main ground was bad nothing would be working and the engine certainly wouldn't crank. Since I'm assuming the CEL comes on with the key you must...

    no spark!!!

I see. OK, my mistake...you're the one confused. That was a great answer though ;)

    no spark!!!

I'm confused. Why would you be checking parasitic draw for a no spark condition?

    Hot Tank Cleaning

Yes, it's mostly water but other stuff can be in there. Surfactants (soap), rust inhibiters, stuff like that. The water is heated and depending on the system can even be ultrasonically conditioned. The machines use all sorts of movable manifolds and spray heads to get stuff clean. Think of...

    Hot Tank Cleaning

Freeze plugs are usually removed prior to hot tanking. At least that's how I remember it. Hot tanking is becoming rare in many places these days due to environmental concerns, often being replaced by aqueous cleaning. Think big dishwasher.

    vsv disconnect

Loss of rest pressure typically effects only hot starts. You could always measure it. If not try jumping the fuel pump on at the diag block prior to starting. If things get better investigate some more.

    vsv disconnect

If that's the only thing you know that could be the problem you're in for some frustration. Fwiw the VSV for the EGR can't be the cause because it's ported vacuum. That said at least do as Jdub suggested and block the line. Might as well cap it off at the throttle body.

    another code 52

That's pretty funny. The fact you got new sensors a few months back is meaningless. The 100 ohms is not. Your grounding method leaves a lot to be desired too.

    REMOVED CATS Your EXPERIENCE

Indeed. A stoich mixture is clean, just not clean enough for the gum'mint. I'd post the numbers but it'd be a waste of time. That said a faulty EGR combined with no catalyst could amount to a bit of stink under certain conditions. As for "carcole" the poster is either confusing Vettes with the...

New Oil pressure sensor location question

I yank those things out and put petcocks there. Makes life easy on turbo cars. Datsrboi: If I'm not mistaken there's an oil port just to the rear and low of that.
