Engine Rebuild - Parts List Look Good?

Don't go cheap on the timing belt...you don't need the headache if it streaches and jumps a tooth. Greddy belts are outstanding...use the Toyota belt at minimum. I would use ARP rod bolts and have the rods resized with them torqued to ARP spec. Line hone the mains...ARP bolts must also be...

A/F R's all over the place??

Yes...code 51 will occur as soon as the throttle plate is advanced from the idle position. Just a thought...the vac line leading to the power steering idle up valve on the pump. Did you check it and the valve for leaks? I also see you have your SSQV vented to the atmosphere...mine is the...

    Head Rebuild Questions

This is a good read: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=216396&postcount=5 I'm using a Cometic myself...sized to my cylinder/piston diameter. Cometic will make you any thickness or cylinder diameter you need. The Cometic is a bead type MHG; it's just as good as the others...

Longevity of the perfectly built 7M

Fair enough ;) I built mine for 700 HP and run in the 450ish range. I used top components for the bottom end and head...crower rods, fully balanced, line honed, Ross pistons, 1mm oversized valves w/ TRD springs, mild port to name a few. I made 100% sure all torque specs and all clearances...

89 5spd diff vs 91 auto diff (help)

EvilEmpire - do you have any clue as to how a clutch type or Torsen LSD works? Maybe you should read up on it before you post BS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_slip_differential

    a nice partybag-full-o-problems :]

Code 12 is the rpm signal to the ECU...no NE or G signal to the ECU in 2 sec after the car is cranked. At least one G signal must be present for the car to crank...this code points to the distributor or the starter signal circuit. The test for the distributor is in the IG section of the TRSM.

A/F R's all over the place??

You sure have a way with words slo ;) You can jump the T and E1 terminals on the diag block and read Vf to see what your O2 is doing. This thread has more info on that...start at post #67: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23249&page=4

Once again Bondie, you ignore the huge difference in the shear number of Americans vs British soldiers. And that soldier, plus the ones with him, are being sent to jail under the UCMJ...tougher than civilian laws...these guys will be in Leavenworth for a long time. Why, because they committed...
