    No Spark for my 7M-GE

    1) NE (Number of Engine revolutions) provides rpm and crank position information. G1 and G2 provide reference signals used in conjunction with NE to determine TDC. Output of all three should be a minimum of 1 volt p/p at cranking speeds. 2) The ECU is grounded at the intake manifold. If the...

    Tail light trouble... Please Help!!

Good luck. If they come on plug the connector back into the box (so your brakes lights will work) and put the jumper in the back side of the connector until you get a new box. They come up on ebay from time to time for very cheap. There's different types so make sure you get the right one. I'd...

    Tail light trouble... Please Help!!

Well, why don't you just jumper it and see if the tails come on? Pins 10 (green wire) and 4 (green with red stripe). The box can be left connected or not.

    Tail light trouble... Please Help!!

I didn't read the entire thread but if the markers and brakes work but the tails don't either the LFM is bad, the wiring after it is open, or you're missing a ground. That's assuming the bulbs are OK. That said I'm puzzled about something: since you appear able to interpret the schematic why...

    compressor wiring problem

Due to the low pressure cut out switch the clutch will not engage without refrigerant in the system and it usually doesn't need to be engaged to charge enough to close the switch. That said you can always power it directly for a few moments if needed or jumper the switch assuming that's the only...

    Tail light trouble... Please Help!!

Don't go postal on me Frank but in the interest of accuracy the box monitors (not controls) only the tail and brake lights. The rear markers and license plate lamps aren't involved.

See the Purolator PureOne new Purty filter

Purolator's E-Catalog application tool shows the filter to be mainly for Cobras, AMCs, and Aston Martins but assuming there's space to mount it it'll work on this car, as will a whole bunch of other filters. Over the years I've run everything from Mann-Hummels to Bosch on mine. After all in the...

    Wiring Harness Diagnosis...Repair/Replace?

It took a long series of diagnostics to find the ECU is not being powered? I'd say the distributor is the least of your problems. You're not going to have +B until M-Rel closes. That's not going to happen until IGSW is input to the ECU. Course, BATT needs to be hot before any of this can...

    compressor wiring problem

The wiring for the AC is in the service manual so I'm at a loss as to why you can't find it. That said the EWD I pointed you at is better. Although it's for a later model year the wiring colors are the same as in your car. What's the problem, no clutch engagement? Is there refrigerant in the...
