    exhaust smells like hell

^^^ Sulfur is the likely culprit...the rotten egg smell is due to the CAT producing Hydrogen Sulfide

    exhaust smells like hell

From Winkipedia...Google is your friend ;) I highly doubt a bad O2 sensor is the cause of your problem...could be a contributor though. Especially is it is causing a lean AFR.

    some more questions

The stock oil cooler is fed via the relief valve (pre-filter) on the stock filter head. The oil flows from the cooler straight to the pan.

    Freeze plug size?

John - the Toyota plugs work well. The key is to make sure they are seated deeply enough to fully cover/seal on the machined surface on the block holes. The most picky is the one under the CPS.

Turbo oil filter ideas (to filter the turbo feed)

Yep, a clogged in-line filter would be a bad thing ;) That's why a by-pass filter on a different loop works so well. It will make your oil analytically clean and since it's not in the full flow circuit of the pump, you don't have a flow problem when the filter reaches capacity.

Turbo oil filter ideas (to filter the turbo feed)

Try these out for size ;) http://www.cmfilters.com/remote_filters/in-line_oil_filters.htm Canton says it's an 8 micron filter...I'd check the flow rate to make sure you don't starve the turbo. Several companies make screen type in-line oil filters; the filtration ability is between 80...

    Mixed up vacuum hoses

Why would you have to go through the firewall? The hardline is already there...the one that leads to the CC from the tank. All you have to do is get some vac line and vent to the wheel well. If you drill the cap, I wouldn't fill the tank all the way...especially the next day after a cool...

    Mixed up vacuum hoses

No...route the hose to the fender well. You don't want fuel vapor around hot parts...like turbos or exhaust manifolds ;)

Liquid filled Autometer gauge. Can you add more liquid?

http://www.ametekusg.com/engineering/Liquid_filled.pdf The liquid absorbs vibration and pressure spikes. The dampening action of the liquid enables reading during conditions of rapid dynamic loading and vibration. The liquid lubricates all moving elements, dramatically reducing wear...

    I think I'm hitting fuel cut @ 11psi

You can't miss fuel cut...it's rather dramatic and the check engine light will illuminate ;) With a stock AFM you'll it it at 12 psi +/- Check for boost leaks in your IC piping.

    ecu constraints for open/closed loop

A/F ratio feedback does not occur (open loop) under the following conditions: - During engine start - During after-start enrichment - During power enrichment - Coolant temp below 176 deg F - When fuel cut occurs - When the lean signal continues longer than perdetermined time - When the...
