^ Gotta agree with that. It's no wonder many owners whine about prior ones.
That's a 5 watter. I'm gonna say, based on a rough guess of blower current and Mr Ohm's law, it'll be OK as long as it stays cool. Myself, I would have stuck with nichrome...
Well, there ya go. Interesting bit of wiring in that circuit. Note how the blower is dynamically braked to keep it from freewheeling when off. 'Dem Jap engineers are smart. Anyway, stay cool....
Assuming you're diddling the air flow signal as most do it's actually easier because the engine is always open loop. No fighting the system like with a sensor. Tuning for open loop (acceleration or above the WOT prescription) is the same as with sensor equipped engines.
What it gets you is...
The 10 amp fuse is fed from the blower relay, aka the heater relay. It also feeds the plugs you're talking about. Until you get that working you're not going to have power at the AC fuse. Plain as day if you look at the schematic...
Been to Estonia. Neat place. The women are to die for.
VK: Since the O2 sensor's sole purpose in life is to serve the catalyst an engine that came without a sensor won't come with a cat. Your ECU is programmed differently but even cars that came with sensors will run only slightly rich without...
Careful there guy. Puddle that size will make quite a vapor cloud while evaporating. If this just happened you might want to hose it down or push the car away from it. And I hope you don't have a water heater with a pilot flame in your garage.
When you're ready jumper FP and B+ to pressurize...
For rad leaks oatmeal has been known to work too ;)
Skim, some advice from beyond: First, there's no such thing in life as not enough time, there are only priorities. Considering the big picture passing on the reception should be a no-brainer. Second, never permit your emotions to overrule your...
^ Old school. Works. Hold the bacon though ;)
I'm confused. He has to go Sunday and tonight is Friday. Go to the auto store tomorrow, get a new rad, and install it. Problem solved. Maybe it's me but it shouldn't take a day to change a radiator or two days to drive 300 miles...
Solder it. If you can get epoxy on there you can solder it.
Btw there are very few things in life you "have to do". Not only that but being on the side of the road with a blown coolant system (and possibly warped head) midway at 150 miles would suck a lot more more than not being there on time....
It means you've never spent much time in California. If you'd had you'd know exactly what it means ;)
Many older built to be sold abroad cars don't have lambda control or cats. After all without lambda cats are useless. Ask someone in the UK for example. Lots of cars over there without the...
Quote away Ken, no problem here. Not that it'll matter because SF is as moron infested as forums come. As for octane use what's needed. Myself, I've got far better things to spend my duckets on...
Not sure I follow. Do you get a normal code? Is the CPS in the center of the bracket? What timing do you see from one extreme to the other?
What is the idle speed?
Funny, from where I sit I was helping him. Since I'm not there I can't tell him what it is but I can sure tell him what it isn't. Besides, one of my tasks here is suppressing BS and some of what you just wrote is as pure as it gets. Here's hoping you don't post any more in the future.
Bottom...
The clutch coil requires 12 volts. What do you mean by it won't go in?
Assuming you're charging the low side with vapor try jumping the compressor for a minute or warming the refrigerant can.
