i've heard about the washing the cylinders that it does. i've also heard that it causes premature wear and tear on the rings. you have to re-ring sooner. or is that just a myth?

yeah, that's what i mean. i can see it wobbling around in there, but wasn't sure how to take it out. i didn't want to just start yanking on it cause i didn't want to mess something up. so there no bolts or clips holding it in place? i can just take a pair of pliers and tug it out of there?

how is it running bad? does it feel like it's missing? any knocking or any kind of other noise? hesitating? BTW, compression is supposed to be around 142 for a good motor.
