well we decided to block off the egr, in order to eliminate that leak... seems easier in the long run. just gotta wait for the JB to finish doing its thing, and we will be re-installing things tonight, hoping for the best! i never tried the water spray idea either... i gotta wonder how that...

We tried the carb cleaner method, found a leak at the front of the lower manifold... tightened things down, that seemed to help. there is another leak around the egr valve. that will be fixed in the near future, i need money haha. thanks guys! brad

I have heard this same idea about the leak pinpointing, but the people i have heard that from all seemed crazy, haha. thanks joel! I will let you know how it goes, off to wrenching... brad

yeah, burping should help it... if it isnt a BHG... thats what happened in my case. does the coolant flow out from the overflow? i thought there was some blockage in my rad/hoses, but it turned out to be a really nasty BHG... good luck! brad
