    n/a ma70 fuel usage

I remember going to SILV06, I made it from Rock Springs (Wyoming) to Vegas, and averaged 27mpg. I could have made it without stopping, but I would have had about half a gallon in my tank by the time I get to LVMS... That was mostly 75-80mph, never stopping.

That was probably just the mountain bike or Subaru bits in their burger... :p

    5spd 7m 10.67 @132 !

So, a C6 ZR1 or newer Viper, capable of running in the 10's with sticky tires, still needs aftermarket axles? That seems kinda redundant...

You beat me? I know it was pretty damn close, I thought we kinda had to let off at some rather illegal numbers? Nice numbers Mike... Good ol' LS1. Feels like they wanna pull forever!

The Unoffical I Miss my Supra Thread

Is a storage unit an option? That's where I have my Mk2 now that I've gotten my Mk3 running and daily driveable. :) On that note, I also miss my first Supra, an 88 n/a hardtop automatic. That car was so well sealed up, you could crank the stereo to the point you could scream and your passengers...

    1jz cutting out at wot

Sounds kinda like what my car's doing now that I've put on a 3" ypipe... get above 4k rpm, turbos spool to 13psi, and it likes to 'pop'. Feels like 7m fuel cut, but nowhere near as intrusive. You guys sure it isn't fuel cut?

    1JZ starting issues

Sounds kind of like what my car did about two months ago, as far as not wanting to start. Different circumstances, but mine was a combination of 15w40 Rotella, a weak ass Walmart battery, and a VERY chilly Wyoming winter afternoon (-20*f). Does your starter click once, or repeatedly? Mine...

    Stock Twins to single gt28R??

I'm also a bit confused as to what the OP is wanting. If you want a similar feel to the stock twins, get something around the size of the bigger trim CT26 (if going single). I am considering a Precision PT6262a, would lag a bit, but would also deliver about as wide a powerband as I want too. If...

    n/a ma70 fuel usage

Well, it depends on a lot of things man... Changing it over to numbers I can do the math on, and assuming your light comes on about the same place as mine (with ~14.5 gallons used), you're looking at about 13.5 miles per gallon, or to you, err... well, I'm not entirely sure how you guys measure...

If you like jack in the crack or are broke

I miss J in the B. There isn't one within 500 miles of here, last I checked. :(

It can get out of it's way alright, that's for sure. If for some reason I can't get rid of it within a year, it's gonna be boosted with scraps around the shop. :)

You know, for what it's worth, a good driver behind the wheel of an LS1 F-body is a thing to behold. I have yet to lose a race in my 01 SS, but it's a 6 speed and I know how to use the thing. That said, I can't stand the POS car that it happens to be bolted into...

    LED tail light designs (pics)

I've been considering doing this for some time now, should have done it when the car was down last year... I have a few ideas, mostly off the wall sorts, but I think they'd be a bit different. Toyota logos anyone? :)

Supradupra.com 2.5TT Aero Limited JDM refurb (yUK)

Good Lord man... I thought I had OCD. I know it's been said, but this level of dedication is rare and pretty much universally appreciable. Flashy has never been my style, but you have my utmost respect sir. :)

    Time to get new tires...

That's good to know man. I have Nitto 555r's on my rear right now, they're a bit mushy, but they are a drag radial, I imagine that has a bit to do with that. Thanks for the tip on the spacer, I'll definitely try my best to keep it from rubbing anything, I may even see if I can't roll the fender...

    Time to get new tires...

Upon seeing those pictures, I think my new summer tires are gonna be a set of 315/35/17's... and a 10mm spacer. Question though, how much "mush" is there on those? I like a good stiff tire for handling reasons, would a wider wheel be a necessity, or do they fit on the 9.5" pretty good? I've got...

    Time to get new tires...

No, you're not the only one that finds that a bit funny, although I'll admit that I hadn't noticed it... You'll have to post up in here how well those do for you. I wouldn't mind another set, but if they're no better than the Nittos I have on there now, I can't really justify spending another...

    Time to get new tires...

Yes, you can go with 275/40/17 on your Mk4 TT's. That's what I run all around during the summer. The 9.5" wheel up front makes for an increased turning circle, and I gotta be careful of oversteer, since I can't counter very much before the wheel rubs, but I haven't really run into any serious...
